The Greathouse's: Welcome Beau Benjamin!

Beau is one week old today! We are all doing really well and are all enjoying our new little addition to our family. My mom was here when Beau was born and was able to stay with Isaac while we were in the hospital, which was so nice. We got to have her for 6 days and now we are on our own. It was great having her and all her help. Andy parents also came out to help before the baby was born, but unfortunately Beau didn't arrive before they had to leave. It was really nice to have there help and for Isaac to get to spend some time with his Granny and Papa!
It has been a whirlwind since he has been born, learning to keep up with a toddler while caring for an infant. Much harder work then I thought, but we are loving every minute! Isaac is an absolutely wonderful big brother. He loves hugging and kissing on his baby Beau as he calls him. It's been hard trying to divide the time and attention between the two of them since Beau requires so much attention right now, but having Andy home has been wonderful. He gets 2 weeks off and will be home with us through next week! We are just enjoying this time together and all bonding :) We have been so blessed that we haven't had to cook. The church has us set up on 2 weeks worth of meals being delivered to us every other day! It is amazing and we are so thankful for it! I am recovering well and am able to get around pretty good now. It has been so much better then when I had a c-section for Isaac. My prayers were truely answered in having a natural childbirth! Well, duty calls...enjoy these pics from the past few days!
