Bathtime fun and first time to the Zoo!

Just like his mama, he loves the water.

On Memorial Day we took Isaac to the local Zoo. I think he enjoyed looking at all the people more but we had a fun time trying to get him to see things! After about 20 minutes he was asleep on dad's chest...information overload!

12 Weeks

Isaac turned 12 weeks old yesterday. He is changing all the time. It is such a joy to watch all the fun little things he does everyday. We have been working on "tummy time" lately and he is getting very strong in lifting and keeping his head up. It makes me think he will be crawling in no time. He is quite the little "scooter." We put him to bed facing one way and when we go to get him he is scooted his body completely perpendicular to where we put him down. You never know where you might find him in his bed. He is also starting to hold onto a rattle and can grasp it for a while....of course it immediately goes right in his mouth. Which leads me the the fact that Isaac is becoming a thumb sucker. He is not so into a pacifier and can't keep in his mouth, but he has a hayday trying to get his thumb in there. It is so cute. He will have his thumb in and all four other fingers pressed against his face. I have to watch him real good because he scratches his face and pokes at his eyes doing this and then gets upset. He also "talks" to us allot and seems to be trying to immitate us. This boy has allot to say! I've been trying to get a good video of him doing it. The most exciting this is that Isaac has begun to sleep through the night! It's not every single night but he does more then not. He ususally sleeps from 8pm to 6am! What a champ! I actaully miss getting up with him sometimes. Well those are the major milestones for us these days. I wish I could say I have a daily routine I am in, but he is still pretty much eating and sleeping on demand so everyday is pretty different...especially with daddy's crazy work schedule. We are gearing up to come back to South Bend in a few weeks where he will get to meet many of YOU! We are so looking forward to this and can't wait to see everyone. It's going to be another long roadtrip for us. We are going to leave around his bedtime so that he can just sleep the whole way and drive through the night.

Enjoy the photos and short little videos below :)
Hanging out by the pool at the hotel on a recent trip with dad.
